WHRRC Organizes Environmental Awareness Program in Peddapuram on World Environment Day, Citizens Pledge to Protect Nature

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the World Human Rights Research Council (WHRRC) organized an Environmental Awareness and Conservation Program in Peddapuram, Andhra Pradesh. The objective of the program was to promote environmental awareness and inspire citizens to contribute towards building a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable future.

The program was organized under the leadership of Mr. M.S.B. Chowdary, State Legal Advisor of WHRRC. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. T.S. Narayana, President of the Peddapuram Bar Association, and Mr. Ch. Ravi Babu, Vice President of the Bar Association and Senior Advocate, who extended their support to the initiative. Advocates, social workers, youth, and local citizens participated enthusiastically in the program.

During the event, discussions were held on important topics such as environmental protection, tree plantation, water conservation, and pollution control. Speakers highlighted that environmental degradation and climate change have become major global challenges, making it essential for every individual to actively contribute to the protection of nature and the preservation of natural resources.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. T.S. Narayana emphasized that environmental conservation is not a responsibility limited to a single day but a lifelong commitment. He encouraged citizens to plant more trees and adopt environmentally responsible practices. Mr. Ch. Ravi Babu stated that a clean and healthy environment is a fundamental right of every individual and that protecting it is a collective responsibility of society.

Participants took a pledge to protect the environment by promoting tree plantation, conserving water, reducing plastic usage, and maintaining cleanliness in their daily lives. The program served as a platform to spread awareness and motivate people to take meaningful action for environmental conservation.

The event concluded with a collective commitment to work towards a greener, cleaner, and pollution-free future. Participants expressed their dedication to protecting nature and contributing to environmental sustainability for future generations.

It is noteworthy that the program was successfully organized and coordinated by Mr. M.S.B. Chowdary, State Legal Advisor of WHRRC, who also shared the official information regarding the event.
