New Delhi, August 26, 2026: The World Human Rights Research Council (WHRRC) will launch its national project “Mission Nyay” today, August 26, 2026, at 8:00 PM, with the objective of promoting justice, citizens’ rights, transparency, accountability, and systemic improvement in public institutions. The project will be inaugurated online by Dr. Jyoti Zongluju, Chairperson of the World Human Rights Research Council and Supreme Court Advocate. “Mission Nyay” is not intended to campaign against any public institution or government official. Rather, it aims to study the gap between legal provisions and ground realities, create awareness among citizens about their rights, collect facts and evidence, and submit structured reports to the competent authorities for necessary improvements. The project will focus on legal and standards-based assessment of public institutions, inspections by trained teams, human rights research, factual reporting, and systematic follow-up. During the inaugural session, Dr. Jyoti Zongluju will provide detailed guidance on the methodology of “Mission Nyay,” inspection of public institutions, team training, preparation of inspection reports, evidence-based research, and efforts towards institutional improvement. The World Human Rights Research Council has informed all office-bearers and members to remain available for the session at the scheduled time and actively participate in this important initiative. Members can join the online session by scanning the QR code. The guiding principle of “Mission Nyay” is: “Know your rights, study the law, assess the system, and work for reform through evidence-based efforts.”
