Dr. Jyoti Zongluju, International President – World Human Rights Research Council (WHRRC)

Dr. Jyoti Zongluju is a renowned Indian Advocate, Criminal Lawyer, International Speaker, Human Rights Activist, and social justice advocate, serving as the International President of the World Human Rights Research Council (WHRRC).

Popularly known as “The Legal Lady,” Dr. Zongluju is widely recognized for her dedicated work in criminal law, women’s empowerment, child protection, human rights, legal awareness, and social justice. She is actively engaged in legal practice before the Supreme Court of India and has emerged as a strong voice for justice, equality, dignity, and the protection of fundamental rights.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

Dr. Jyoti Zongluju holds a B.A. LL.B. and an LL.M. in Criminal Law from Delhi. She has further enhanced her professional expertise through advanced certifications and specialized studies in Child Protection, Cyber Law, and Women Empowerment.

She has also completed a Diploma Course from Harvard University, adding an international dimension to her academic and professional understanding of law, leadership, and human rights.

Legal & Human Rights Leadership

Beyond her legal practice, Dr. Zongluju has served as a Legal Advisor to various organizations and NGOs, including Helping Hands NGO. She has also contributed as a Guest Lecturer with the Delhi Police Department, sharing her knowledge and experience in legal and social awareness.

Her professional and social engagements include associations with the North-East Chamber of Commerce and Drugs Free Arunachal, where she has contributed to initiatives involving social awareness, youth empowerment, community development, and the promotion of a safer and more responsible society.

Founder – Empowershe Welfare Foundation Organization

Dr. Zongluju is the Founder of Empowershe Welfare Foundation Organization, an initiative focused on empowering women, youth, and children through education, leadership development, legal awareness, and community support.

Through her continued efforts, she works to create greater awareness of rights and responsibilities while encouraging individuals and communities to pursue education, equality, justice, and social development.

International Representation & Speaking Engagements

Dr. Jyoti Zongluju has represented India as an International Speaker and Panelist at various global conferences, leadership summits, academic platforms, and international exchange programs.

She was invited as a Panelist at the World Youth Leadership Conference 2025 in Dubai, UAE, where she participated in discussions on:

“Building Inclusive Societies: Youth Leadership in Promoting Equality and Diversity.”

She was also honoured by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), Vietnam, with a Certificate of Appreciation for her contribution as an International Speaker during the Global Academic and Cultural Exchange Program 2025. Her presentation focused on:
